We will accepts items that we can sell at car boot sales, or better quality goods to sell on ebay, to raise funds

We would be grateful for anything you can do to help raise funds or raise awareness of our efforts.

Anything you can do can only be of help, so please have a think 

 

For your help or/and contribution, you can get your name on this site,

for companies you get a link/advert on this site and logo's advert on vehicle.

 

We will be taking the vehicles to shows, events and carboot sales, up until we go in July 2009, so any company logo's will get plenty of publicity

 

 

 

 

Mileage competition

Terms and Conditions

  1. Any individual that sponsors us is eligible to enter the mileage competition by entering their name in the mileage box on the sponsor form or entering their guess into the special instructions box when sending the money via Paypal (please make it clear that you wish to enter the mileage competition)
  2. The mileage will be verified at the beginning by officials organising the rally at the start in London and again at the end point in UlaanBaatar. 
  3. To get a correct average the mileages from each vehicle (in The Wandering Vikings team) will be added together and then divided by the number of vehicles.
  4. The prize will be to the value of at least £100, and will be something of that value and not left over T-Shirts etc.
  5. The winner will be notified directly by mail, and also the mileage will be displayed on the website, along with the winners name and postcode.
  6. The winner will have 28 days from their details being put up on the website and letter sent, to contact us with regard to receiving their prize, after which the next closest will replace the original winner.
  7. If the winner does not wish to have the prize they can determine what is done with it, whether it is given to next closest or sold to raise more money for charity.
  8. After the prize has been claimed the winners details will remain on the website until such time that the website closes and all monies are allocated and The Wandering Viking cease all activity to do with the 2009 Mongolian Rally.
  9. The mileage competition is open to every person except the team members themselves.
  10. Any number of people from a household can enter the competition providing that each entry is accompanied by a donation or sponsorship.
  11. Only one entry per person.
  12. All entries are final and cannot be changed or altered in any way, so check before you send them.
  13. Details of the winner and the final mileage can be applied  for until The Wandering Viking cease all activity to do with the 2009 Mongolian Rally.
  14. Entering into the mileage competition implies acceptance of the terms and conditions above.
